Why Jump4Health?

Our frontline workers are dealing with trauma on a scale that has never been seen before. This is our response to the increase in mental health issues and other challenges caused by Covid; many of which can be addressed through sports. The nationwide skipping challenge is a low cost activity with significant benefits for physical and mental wellbeing. Lance says:

“In the last 13 months we have seen a dramatic increase in young children, and also parents and guardians, who have been struggling to cope during the lockdown. Feelings of isolation and even being subject to abuse in the home has all been really tough.

Lance adds: “Seeing all of the images of nurses and doctors in distress – worn out, shattered from the increased pressure – we all need to pull together as we look to the future.

“We want the whole nation behind us and skipping is such a great way to get involved. Skipping not only helps with fitness levels but also we have seen for ourselves the impact it can have on a person’s mental health.”

We’d love for you to get involved
